Using the AC Power cable only no subscription. Once the zone is configured, does the cable able to be disconected and the zone still intact. Can a new zone be created, etc.?

I believe you’re referring to basic activity zones, these are only operational while external power is applied.
To have them operational on battery you need a subscription.
You don’t get the 3 second look back unless they are powered.

Yes I know, that is not the subject of my post. So .. how can you do basic zones unless you have a 50 ft power cable??

So you’re trying to operate a camera mounted 50ft away from the nearest power socket so you can enable basic activity zones with out buying and installing a power cable, correct.
Arlo wants you to pay more for that feature.
