I don't know how long this has been an issue, I just noticed today... in the app, my audio detection icon was light gray, meaning it was not enabled. I saw no way to enable it.  I am not the admin, so, I got the admin's phone and discovered something. While the camera were on "armed", the basic mode that comes pre-set, sound detection was off, even though in the first screen it said "motion and sound detection on."

 

So, we made a custom mode: motion and sound detection enabled.

 

But, after we saved and re-entered the app, the motion icon is light gray! This is not good, I need the camera to trigger with both things. What can I do?

DId you enable your new custom mode? I'm sure you did but didn't say so.

 

Have you rebooted the base and reinserted the battery to ensure both are refreshed.

Yes I enabled the mode. We have two camera under this mode and it's like either/or, the settings seem to only be applying to one camera now. I'll reboot the base station and report back. OF COURSE this happens when I need the camera to be working properly.
