UK Recall Status pf Arlo Outdoor Power Adapter Model VMA4700

I have read the recall info on the VMA4700.

It is not clear if people who bought the VMA4700 in the UK should stop using the UK version of the adapter which is VMA4700-100UKS (made in Vietnam).

Presumably other versions sold elsewhere in the world that are not covered by the USA/Canada recall are in the same boat..of not knowing what they should do.

Use the product outdoors or not and wait for information from Netgear as to safety of these products.

Good question. The stuff here:

refers only to where they are accepting returns. It doesn't say if the UK model is implicated.

I'd say if the part number is the same, it's best to not use it and try get it refunded on the recall
