Just logged in to check battery status and noticed that all 4 of my Arlo Pro 2 cameras (connected to base station) quit recording about 36 hours ago. Only camera that was recording to my account was my Arlo Q. I was able to just turn off/on individual cameras and get them functioning properly again but this is a major security issue. Has anyone ever experienced same?
I pulled the USB stick from the base station as well and even worse - missing several files that are available in the cloud even though I have auto-over write enabled...
Very dissapointed right now but not sure what happened, should I try re-installing firmware on my base unit? I have about a week left to return product also - do you think I have a defect and should exchange?

I have been dealing with this for two weeks my cameras keep going off every 3 to 4 hours charge the batteries up they go dead within two days don’t know what to do anymore contacted Arlo pro no response try reading anything on here it gets deleted at the regular system they seem to work good this Arlo pro to system is driving me crazy I have to reboot 4,5,6 times a day
Every time I reboot and reset they come on half an hour later it says Cam is no longer registered?? I see on Twitter they take down these comments can’t seem to get a straight answer from Best Buy they won’t even call me back

Very strange behavior. All of the recordings should be on the USB drive and only not on the cloud if you had an internet connection disruption. Have to opened a ticket with support?
Also very strange that you could turn the cameras off and on again and get them to work. I would think if they had a communication or functional problem, they wouldn't be able to do that.
I do believe support can do something with logs so contact them and see what they think

Dalescam4, the next time you get the "Cam is no longer registered" error, can you please take a screenshot and post it here?

I am thinking that there is some wifi interference going on here. Try moving the base station a little further from your router.

Did not consider that - I have the router and the base very close, side by side.

pdizzle, how far are your cameras from the base station? Any chance the cameras are quite far and the cameras are struggling to connect to the base station and draining the battery? How many bars of signal are you getting on the cameras?

Base station off line! This is the message that keeps coming up every couple hours, not able to turn cams off but I do turn the base station or reset button on and off then they come on for one hour. The cams are all very close to the Station the farthest one maybe 100 feet. The signal strength is good on all cams when working?? The router and the base station are separated by glass shelves but I will move them a little farther apart and try that this just started happening though system work fine for the first two weeks. Had trouble initially setting up the whole lot of air problems than camera seem to work that night since then cameras go off-line now more than before. The hassle sometimes is you have to go up in the tree to retrieve the camp bring it down and re-sync it because the battery life runs out so poorly from 100 percent to one percent within two days sometimes?? Thanks for your advice
I had a Arlo pro cam set up before they seem to work better until the whole system crashed as you all are aware of and I could not hear anything through the speaker on the cameras so I upgraded to a Arlo pro to where they said that everything would work much better picture would be better sound would be way better and alarms were in cams which I have found does not work?

The Arlo Pro and Pro 2 alarm siren is in the base station
Hopefully the base reposition keeps the cameras online. When the cameras lose contact with the base station, they drain their batteries in a few days hunting to reconnect
