I hate that we are now required to have two step verificaion or even face id on our mobile devices.  In the middle of the night when the lights are out I want to know what is going on quick. If there is someone breaking in I dont' want to have to turn on the lights cause I can't access the app quickly.  It should know your device.

I don't have two-step verification and you can disable the face ID… (apple)

Did you trust the phone  in the app?

You do this from the two-step verification screen after login.  Press the profile icon in the upper left, then the ">" next to your user name.   Then "Two-Step Verification".
