I want to move my router & base to the attic? Is there a temperature limit for the base? I need farther range in that direction of my house, my thought is to move the electronics there & put a fan with a thermostat up there?

From specs ( no mention on base but this is camera )

Operating temperature

-4° to 113° F (-20° C to 45° C)

 

Attics are VERY hot, I know my attic fan goes on at 120-130 degrees F.

A fan will just blow hot air on the units...

 

Personally I would not put electronics in the attic as heat is one of the biggest killers of electroincs

 

 

A better choice would be a wifi extender with an ethernet port to centrally locate the base
