Seeing lots of issues with Device history again as was outlined in this thread, https://community.arlo.com/t5/Arlo/No-history-VMC2030-PRO-2-on-VMB4000/m-p/2447722 I sporadically get the spinning update circle as was observed in prior thread and can't view history. 6.2.6 (9822) app version on Ipad.

Are you using Android or iOS? Does this occur on mobile data and wifi?  Can you update to 6.2.8 and test again?

I mentioned Ipad, so that would be iOS. Occurs with both Wi-Fi and mobil data. Same issue with updated 6.2.8 (9846) version. It appears like a issue connecting to some history server. If history does happen to load, it's usually outdated. More often than not it appears like the connection times out and no history is displayed.

I should also mention the web portal version (Chrome, Win 11) has essentially the same issue.  The history message is a little differnt vs iOS with the spinning wheel and no response, the portal says "There are no events for this day." but that is 100% false.

If you make a manual recording while livestreaming, does that show up in the feed?

If you make a manual recording, it shows up in "Device" history and "Feed" instantly.  The "Feed" to me always appears correct, even when the "Device" history does not load.

When the manual recording shows in "Device" history, other history is loaded immediatly too. Even when prior to manual recording, history would not load for 30 seconds waiting, just spinning circle.

To be clear regarding your statement, “Seeing lots of issues with Device history”—are you seeing that both the Feed tab and the device-specific mini feed (under the Devices tab) are not updating and only show a spinning wheel? If possible, could you provide a screenshot of the error to assist us in investigating further?

I'm not sure what can make it more clear, I had stated, "The "Feed" to me always appears correct, even when the "Device" history does not load."

3 screenshots attached all relating to "Device" tab issues

1) screenshot shows the spinning wheel that exists when going to the "Device" tab, no history is ever loaded no matter how long you wait.

2) screenshot shows the "Device" tab history is displayed AFTER the suggested manual recording, BUT, the history is not current

3) screenshot shows after a manual recording AND leaving the "Device" tab and then going back to the same camera "Device" tab, now the history is temporary displayed correctly until a new event.

That summaries the lots of issues with "Device" tab history.

@jlentzaz Thank you for clarifying and providing the screenshot—it clearly summarizes the issue. I’ll share this with the team and follow up with more information as soon as possible. I will also send you a PM with further info.

Thanks

Got it, Thank you!

I'm guessing a back office change was implemented. Sporactic and very slow history in "Device" tab that was reported has been improved to normal again, at least for the last 3+ hours.
