I’ve read many posts here and need some clarification. I have several Arlo Pro2 cameras all with motion zones, all outside, all connected to solar panels.
1) why do the motion zones not seem to work? I either get tons of videos from the entire view, or no video of motion at all. Totally inconsistent.
2) how can I have activity from a specific zone trigger another camera to record?
Thanks!

1) The Pro2 originally was able to use zones ONLY if on ac power... Not sure if a fw update allows them to function on battery since released.
2) To make cam A trigger cam B, make a custom mode ( add a mode )
detection on A, record on B as rules

You might want to try and adjust the sensitivity and angle as best you can for the environment. Here is a good KB Article that might help. How do I optimize motion detection for my Arlo Wire-Free, Arlo Pro Wire-Free, Arlo Pro 2 Wire-Free, ...
