We have 5 cameras with 4 of them assigned to Smart Notifications.  One of those 4 does not respond to Smart Notification set up.  In other words, we have People as the only active function for motion.  Yet, our dog sets off the camera.  The other cameras work with Smart Notification (ie, the movement by our dog does not set those cameras off).  I have tried resetting the smart notifications, took out the battery for 5 minutes on the camera, restarted the base station and nothing will allow this camera to function with the smart notification turned on.  Beyond frustrating to have to spend money on a function to only have the product not work.  And trying to discuss this with Arlo customer support via messaging has been a worthless effort as they appear to just type from a scripted manual instead of undestanding what is happening on this one camera so it cannot be an app issue since the other cameras work with Smart Notifications.  I am close to throwing this system out and buying a real product.

Are the notifications for the dog correctly classified as "animal"?  Or are they mis-classified as "people"?

Always shows as Animal for reason camera is being set off (which in turn is causing alarm to go off which upsets our dog). Thank you.

If you just swap with another camera, does the problem move? (likely yes, but maybe worth the test).

Thanks for suggesting. We did move/substitute the 4th camera and same issue so appears not to be that camera but instead paying for a program/function that doesn’t work. Looking for a entire new system and ditching this system that doesn’t do what it claims and sucked money out of me. Over it
