My house was stuck by lighting in June 2020 and damaged my VMB4000 Base.  I purchased VMB4500 to replace it.  After connecting Ethernet and then applying power to the base, in that order, the LED began as a solid amber, then the LED goes blue for a while, and then the LED settles at an amber fast flash rate and the state has not changed.  As I type this, the LED is flashing amber.  I called tech support, they assisted me in determining the base was bad.  So, they sent another one and I received it today.  I am having the exact same symptoms as the first VMB4500.  I would think and hope the replacement of the base station would be a simple replacement, but no luck.  Any thoughts from anyone?  Thank you!

Don't know for sure but maybe it's a router issue. You could try a factory reset on the router but it may be easiest to try connecting somplace else, if possible during these days.
