4 installations on 2 continents (17 cameras) have the same problem:   "We are sorry, something went wrong with the streaming service. Please try again." Having tried  for 10 days I am losing confidence in Arlo. Very difficult to get technical help.

Your basestation is offline. Can you please do a reset of the basestation and see if it resolves the behavior you are seeing?

Just a silly question. Can the base station be off~line if the web streaming and App Library works perfectly. This situation happened about 10 days ago simultaneously for 17 cameras (4 base stations) on 2 continents.

The base stations have already been reset umpteen times to no avail. My suspicion is that the problem lies with an ARLO App update which excludes Pro2 systems. So the problem is with ARLO not my local systems.

Looking into the account with the email that is provided via community I am seeing the basestation offline. That is just one of the basestations. If you want to dm me the email addressees of the other accounts I can see what the basestations are looking like on those accounts. You send a dm by clicking on the envelope icon on the top right of the forum page.If you don't see it, then go into your profile settings and select preferences, then "Private Messenger." Then select "Turn on private messages" if it is turned off.

Up do you.   I do suggest putting a link the discussion thread in the message body.

@crunch972001 that behavior you were seeing should now be resolved. Please let me know if you are still seeing the same behavior.

No change. When I login all is OK until I click on a camera. It immediately (NO HESITATION) displays the famous "We are sorry, something went wron with the streaming service".

Can you please uninstall the camera and then reinstall it on the app.

Am I right that reinstalling need to bring the camera close to the base unit?  In my case this means a lot of ladder work but I suppose it could be done. As I am currently in Brasil, the 9 cameras in Switzerland would be "difficult"....lol.

But I will try with one here in Brasil to see the result. I will keep you informed.

  3. Tap Account Profile and Security.
  4. Tap Two-Step Verification.
  5. Swipe left on the trusted device or phone number and tap Delete.

For the Arlo Secure App with Library:

  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Profile.
  4. Tap Login Settings.

I removed 1 camera and tried to reinstall it. Base unit 4500 does not recognize it after 5 attempts, the last attempt 3 inches away.

Holy Cow,

All 17 cameras in Brazil and Switzerland now stream correctly. Any idea (in layman terms) what the problem was.

Thanks for the help.

It is hard to say what may have been causing it. I am glad they are all up and running again. If you see this behavior again, please reach back out.
