I sent an under warranty camera to arlo that was perfect. They sent a used beat up camera back to me. At least they could have used my perfect case that I gave them. Isn't there a customer service number to talk to someone? Unbelievable!!!

If the replacement camera is still under warranty you should be entitled to phone support which should be available by looking under the support page of the arlo app settings/system/camera.

Live customer service is nonexistent  for this smoke and mirrors company.  Their support page does not have any means of contacting a live rep.  I will be contacting the BBB to file a compliant.

bern1398,

To contact customer support, you must have an active Arlo Secure subscription or your camera must be under warranty see here for details: Arlo Support Options

Hello James,

I have several Arlo Pro2 Cameras and base station that work great...so great that the police used a video to catch and prosecute a criminal.  I don't have a subscription and my cameras are probably no longer under warranty.

I'm looking purchasing a new system for another home so I came to the website.

Before purchasing a new system for a different home, I want to make sure I understand your comment correctly:  I will NOT receive any assistance from Arlo if my system is out of warranty and I am not paying the subscription fee?

Seriously?

I love Arlo because it has no subscription fee...that is why I want to purchase more.  It looks like I will lose functionality I like (motion detection and a week or so worth of videos in the library) if I purchase a new system.  So sad.

You can purchase more Pro 2 (or older) cameras and still get the free 7 day plan as well as a warranty. However, it seems to be hard to find new systems so that may not be an option. Any of the cameras newer than the Pro 2 require a subscription, which has been true since 2018, for cloud recordings. There's a newer policy that a paid subscription is required for support although new Pro 2 (or older) systems would have support during the warranty period.

Thank you for your response.  I'll be looking for a system other than Arlo.
