Where can I buy batteries for Pro 2? The agent in Singapore and Malaysia claimed these are no longer produced by Arlo. Is this true? If so, this seemed terrible of Arlo to abandon its early adopters, not to mention not being environmentally friendly. I had spent a lot of money on my Pro 2 set. Are they useless now? Thanks.

Regrettable, it is true, and the possibility of "no spare parts" was included in the EoL notice that Arlo sent out two years ago.

There are third party batteries out there you could try.

Interestingly, this EOL doesn't apply to the EU and the UK, yet it's impossible to get accessories for those models that are included in the EOL. In other words, the EOL doesn't apply but it does.

Thank you.

I didn't receive the EOL notice. Arlo is very disappointing.  Spent so much money and they are now lemons!

I bought 3rd party batteries and they didn't work! Do I keep trying  other third party? Seemed so unfair and dishonest of Arlo.

What other recourse do I have?

Thanks!

You should have received in back in January 2023.  Perhaps you opted out of receiving Arlo marketing emails???

This wasn't a marketing email! And given that the EOL doesn't apply to the EU and the UK, accessories and spare parts should be available. Yet another example of poor leadership at Arlo.

@JamesC - Does Arlo recommend a particular third-party battery?  I think I recall seeing a post to that effect a while ago.

It is annoying that the battery inventory disappeared long before the EoL date.

Yeah.  But I think if people had opted out of Arlo communications, they still didn't get it.

The cameras are discontinued, no doubt about that. The fact that the EoL disclaims the EU and UK is likely due to contract terms in the Verisure partnership. Supply of accessories is likely also covered in that contract.

In any event, since the OP is contacting Asia support, I suspect that @SGsh15 is not in the UK or the EU.
