Message - Your camera needs to warm up before it can operate?
So when it's cold these cameras don't operate? It's not that easy to get a ladder out with snowy conditions

Yes... when the camera goes below aprox -4F, it will shut down ( low end of operating specs).... If sun hits it, ( depending on temps ) it may come back on line...if warmed up it will come back automatically

Approx -4 is way off target. Mine stopped operating 2 weeks ago and it had not even reached 5 degrees here in Detroit. Fortunately mine are easily reached so I just brung them in the house and left them. Guess they will be back out by March.

I've had 2 cameras (P1 and P2) turn off due to cold - the're off right now with temps that reached ~0F. They seem to require a bit more time than expected to turn on although I don't know exactly at what temp - might have been close to 10F. The fact that they're on the west side may have something to do with this, what with lack of sunlight to help warm them.
