A family member uses PRO2 with VMC 4030 and sometimes they ask me to check the system. In the last few months I noticed that while I can log on from my computer with user name and password I can no longer do so from my mobile phone--which also has the Arlo app. It keeps asking me to choose Arlo Safe or Arlo secure and asks for some other password that is supposed to be found on the original receipt for the unit from 2019. They don't have any subscription plan and don't want one. On the computer it shows the account as the 'Secure' choice. I'm on the latest MAC and iphone software.

on my computer it says https://my.arlo.com/#/login; on my iphone it says my.arlo.com. Is that not right?

It is right.
Arlo doesn't want you to use the mobile browser to reach my.arlo.com. So they have limited the functionality on your phone browser to subscription management.
Maybe see if they can share the camera with your account, then you could use the app. (Both accounts would need to be using the same interface for this to work - either both using "Feed" or both using "Library".
