one camera stops recording

So I have what seems to be a common fault but I have tried everything else suggested

one of my two cameras stops recording however it still shows the motion icon, however you cannot view in live mode and nothing is recorded.

rebooting the base seems to be the only fix

Have you swapped the two cameras to see if it is the camera ( problem follows camera ) or location ( possible interference )
