I have a pro 2 setup and love it. I know once you get past five cameras the service is no longer free but are their any other downsides? I read somewhere the maximum was 15 cameras per base. I was thinking of running ten. I was just worried with that many that it may bog down the system or something.

Not really as Arlo has max'ed the streaming cameras to 5 at the same time....
but also check your data thru-put... each cam needs a min of 1MB up plus normal overhead from other devices

And the 5 camera free plan still exists.
