So, I have Arlo set up on two different locations.

On the first location I have Arlo Pro 2 and the base station that came with it. Here the siren is working, it shows when clicking the red shield symbol in the top right corner of the iOS app and I can toggle it manually.

On the second location I have the same cam, Arlo Pro 2 but had to buy a new hub, the Arlo Ultra SmartHub. This setup does not show when trying to toggle the alarm. The cam is working fine, the speaker on the cam is working (I can speak over it), recording is fine etc, but I can not find a way to toggle the siren. This setup does not show when clicking the red shield symbol in the top right corner of the iOS app.

I have tried to reinstall the cam, the base station, the app, nothing works.

Is it a hardware thing? Is Arlo 2 Pro not fully compatible with Arlo Ultra Smart Hub?

The SmartHubs don't have a built-in siren. Only the VMB4500 has one.

So the siren is built in the Arlo Pro 2 camera and the problem is somewhere else.

When pressing the red "activate siren" button in top right corner, the old original base station shows, but not the Arlo Ultra Smarthub one.

@OongaBoonga

The pro2 cameras don’t have a built in siren, what you will likely have is the base station siren in the VMB4000/4500.

The VMB5000 smart hub doesn’t have a siren as they moved it into the ultra camera model that was bundled when it was released.

Return the smart hub and get a VMB4000 base instead for siren feature.
