One of my Arlo pro 2 rechargeable batteries was working Ok. Once it discharged in one of the cameras, normal use, and the camera turned off. Now I can not charge it again any more. Camera works ok, I tried charging it with the camera and with an external charger and the battery is dead.

Did it die for ever? It was working ok before, it just turned off normally.

Is there any solution?

You can try reading the article below.

It may take a few tries depending on how long the battery has been flat.

I had read this article. I already tried plugging the camera for several hours a couple of times. The lightning sign appears but once I unplug the charger the camera turns off.
Should I keep on connecting the camera to the charger? For how long? How many more times before declaring that the battery is officially dead? I have two batteries in the same situation.
Thanks

You're misunderstanding what the FAQ is saying. It's not how long you plug it in, it's the need to plug it in for a little while, then unplug it, then plug it in, etc. until there's enough power in the battery to allow it to then fully charge.

Thanks! I see. I'll try.
How do I know when there's enough power in the battery to allow it to then fully charge?
So far, when I plug it, I see from the app the lightning icon, but it doesn't get charged.
How do I know when stop plugging and unplugging for little whiles  to leave it charging in this case?

Thanks

If you’re seeing the lightning icon when plugged in it should take about 2hrs to fully charge.

Beware the pro2 battery is a 7.2vdc so needs to be charged using the charger that came with the camera as it uses the QC mode.

Also some non arlo batteries may not display correctly in the arlo app after changing and can cause damage.
