My alerts show 36, but when I look at the library there are only 2?

What phone device are you using? Have you tried restarting your phone and/or power cycling your Base Station?

I am using an IPhone 8, it have shut it down several times.
I have also restarted the Arlo Base a couple of times

Have you tried uninstalling the Arlo app, restart your iPhone, and reinstall the app to see if that helps?
