Sorry I meant to tell you there is only $35. Difference in the Pro and Pro2. So would that make a difference in which one to get?

Not really. The main differences are 1080p (Pro 2) vs. 720p (Pr0) and 3 second lookback for recordings which you've said you won't be using.
