If I buy used Arlo Pro 2 cameras will they record video with no subscription?

If I buy used Arlo Pro 2 cameras will they record video with no subscription? I have 3 that do that but my arlo pro 4’s need the subscription. I am thinking of getting rid of those and making them all pro 2 and avoid the subscription

Pro2 cameras still retain the legacy 7days free cloud storage feature.

You will also need a Base station if the pro4’s didn’t come with one.

You will be limited to 5 cameras per account without subscription.

Direct access storage is also another option although featureless but can be used with the pro4 series, needs a VMB4540 or VMB5000 Base to work.

The difficultly is getting the pro2, and they will be outside arlo’s warranty and without subscription you don’t get personal support.
