JamesC,

I need to talk to someone about upgrades to my system.

I currently have 5 devices, and a base station.

I have 2 Arlo pro 2 cameras, 2 Arlo Q+ and a wired arlo essentials Video doorbell.

I would liketo replace the Q + and the video doorbell.

My bigest problem is that I have Centurylink DSL with 11 down and 1 up Mbps

I would probably signup for a cloud based service, but would like the local storage optiobn as well.

Please send me a private message or an email contact.

Thank you

Mike

Sandymike,

Today there are several options to choose from, however, you may want to look in to upgrading your ISP first if possible.

With the ISP speeds you've noted, none of the latest Arlo cameras will work reliably due to lack of upload bandwidth. Take a look here for more information: https://kb.arlo.com/000062043/What-are-the-minimum-requirements-for-installing-and-using-my-Arlo-sys...

This is what I am finding with most security cameras.

I don't know if I can get any better bandwidth.

I may have 5G available,  does Arlo have any systems for 5G?

Thank you

Mike

Do you mean mobile broadband (using a router that connects to mobile data)?

Or are you asking if Arlo has any cameras that connect over mobile data?

If that latter, you could look into the Go 2.
