Back in the old App you use to be able to go to setting and find a user access and you could see a arrow next to it and if it was gray then they where gone if it was green they where in the geofence area.     Is there anywhere in the new App to see that so I can figure out who’s phone isn’t geofencing right so I can tell them to reboot or sign out and login again.

I just looked at my Leave automation using the Android app and checked the settings for Specific People Leave (you may have used Everyone Leaves but I would think the result is the same). I see my phone as filled in but my wife's is a light gray since she's not here. Can you verify the same condition?

BTW, anyone who doesn't open the app at least every 2 weeks gets logged out so can't be tracked as to whether at home or not. I set a calendar reminder for my wife to remind her to open the app even though she doesn't normally use it to keep from being logged out.

I’ll look into that.    Right now all of them are grayed out because nobody is home.   I’ll see if that changes when in or wife’s at home and let you know.

Thank You.

K.    Well the Sister in Law is sitting at the house right now and hers is still gray out so it’s not seeing anybody home or leaving.   It’s basically lost everybody and all of this was working like a champ before this last update.

well i have been racking my brain for 2 days now and i still can't figure out what happened and why BUT i still have NO GEOFENCING WORKING AT ALL   no matter what I've tried i can get it to working again.  This ridiculous I did absolutely Nothing, Changed Nothing except update the App and then it quit working   I Don't know where to go from here other than DELETE EVERYTHING and start over which I can't figure out why I should have to do that it was working fine      HELP!!!!!

I checked mine before reading your responses and I see the same thing so that's not why some are grayed out. It seemed plausible at the time but obviously isn't.

2 things affect GF response - 1) location settings for the app on each phone (to be on at all times) and 2) the users to actually being logged into the app. That means no one logs out but simply backgrounds the app as well as using the app occasionally so the app doesn't timeout and log that user out.

You mentioned "the last update" - what do you mean by that? What phones are being used as well as the OS for each? Are all the apps showing the same user interface (i.e. all see Feed to view recordings or all see Library)? I don't know if that makes a difference but...

We keep all of our Phones on at all time and log into Arlo all day.     Locations we never touched it we never did anything to cause it to loose our locations.

last update that I DL was Aug 25  we’re running IOS and everybody has the newest App on their phones.

Well yesterday I was starting to get happy because all of a sudden Geofencing was working.    BUT   It went into Standby  BUT it was still record motion while in Standby.   I have it setup to turn off all camera in Standby     But I kinda figured that I’ll work on that later I was just happy that it was Geofencing right.     Then this morning I have NO live feed to cameras and it says the base is offline.  Walking in to the spare bedroom all LED are green and everything else is connected to the internet is working. and here the kicker it’s gone back to NOT Geofencing and it’s still recording motion and sending me notifications about the motion and I can view the video I can’t get live feed still.     I just don’t know what’s going on

Did you reboot your hub? That could help. Worst case, and perhaps fastest although a PITA, is to remove all devices from your account and start fresh. There may just be something wrong in the setup that's causing this and starting fresh should clear it out. Yes, it's the nuclear option...

Ya I was thinking that I’ll try and reboot first.   If that doesn’t work then I’ll just upgrade to the wireless essentials cameras these are getting old anyway. I’m just ready to get rid of the base.

I have you and BrookeN helping   I appreciate both of y’all

K.  Rebooted the base and I have live camera feed now so that’s fixed    I’ll move on to the Geofencing tomorrow morning when I leave to go to breakfast.   I did notice that even with the base offline that I was still getting Standby Mode popping up on the feed when someone entered the Geofencing area

ok live feed is working right again.
Now back to the Geofencing is half working.   Another words every time a person come to the house in goes into standby which should happen BUT it will never go into Away Mode.  There has to be a way to see who is holding it in StandBy Mode.  Another words who’s phone is at or showing at home still.     Also the interesting thing is the StandBy Mode pops up even though it was in StandBy mode to begin with it never got out of StandBy Mode BUT it pops up and let you know it’s in StandBy Mode.
