Don't want a subscription on camera I added

I added a camera to my system. My other cameras I was never forced to take a smart subscription, I could do it if I chose to. With the added camera it is forcing me to go through a subscription process. Is this a sneaky way of forcing people onto the plan. If it is this is very bad, could you buy a secondhand camera and not be forced to do this, this is very sneaky and bad marketing and practice. I want an answer fast!

I have 5 cameras total, 1 I have chosen to go a single camera subscription, 3 running no subscription, 1 I am being forced through the payment prompts to make it active. I want 1 camera on subscription, 4 no subscription.
