Does the activity zones only work inside? I would like to place a Arlo pro 2 in the front of our garden (pointing towards the door but would like to "turn of" some areas to minimaize the risk of false alarms from the street). I know it needs powersource but does activity zones only work inside? Whats the difference (inside/outside) ?
If I put the camera on the inside (poiting outide) motion detection wont work because of the window... =(

Yes, activity zones work outside.
The way the activity zones work is the camera must detect motion on its IR sensor AND motion inside the zone at the same time.
Your camera didn't detect because the IR sensor will not work through glass. It should work properly outside.
