I’m considering upgrading my Arlo Pro 2 cameras and base station. My neighbor is interested in my Arlo Pro system, but I need to be sure he will not require a subscription if he creates a new account for my old system. Does anyone know if the free 7-day recording survive a transfer of ownership?

To be sure I understand your answer, if I give my Arlo Pro 2 cameras and VMB4000r3 base station to my neighbor he will be able to register them to his newly created account and he will still have 7 days of free recording?
Sorry if I’m being redundant, I just need to be sure.

Yes.
If you are giving him all your cameras, you could also just change the email address to his email (and change the password of course). Then connect the base to his router's ethernet.
