I have most of the cameras connected to the original hub (VMB4000r3). I just purchased the smart hub (VMB4540r3) and connected my Essential Outdoor cameras to it so that I can set up local storage and viewing (to be covered in another post because that isn't working correctly). Can I connect everything to the smart hub and get rid of the original hub? Will I lose anything by getting rid of the original base if it's possible to get rid of it?

The cameras should transfer ok, do one at a time in case you have issues. Remove camera and add again to the other base.
You will need to copy your mode/rules across manually, no easy method unfortunately.
You would loose the inbuilt siren in the 4000 base, there is no harm to keeping it connected and on the account.
