Hi All,
I was planning to buy an Arlo Pro 2 camera with base station. But, there were 2 versions of it available in the store. (Photo attached )
Can someone please guide me as to which one I should go with and its pro's and con's? Also, which one is HomeKit compatible?
After reading this, I am now leaning more towards the old model. Can Arlo please confirm if VMB4500 will not support 2k with Arlo Pro 3 camera?
Thanks!
PK

read this ;
TMK, the two do not work with the Pro3 as the Pro3 and Ultra require the Smart hub ( smart hub is either the 4540 or 5000 models... for Pro3 or Ultra )
Between the two I prefer the model 4000.
Reason due to 3 leds ( so you have a better idea as to what part of system is connected; showing power/internet/cameras ) instead of one
Also, the back is a usb vs a mem card... I find it easier to use a USB speed stick as the video backup over a mem card.
Last, the 4000 has a siren while the 4500 does not.
Morse is faster than texting!
