I've read a lot of posts by customers dating back to 2017 (6 years ago) requesting that an option to Disable SSID Broadcast of the Base Station be provided in the software. None of the responses provided a solution other than to essentially say 'don't worry about it' - which is not an appropriate response. Arlo customers seem to want the Option to turn off the SSID Broadcast similar to such an option be provided on third-party routers. I'm surprised that after 6 years, Arlo still refuses to listen to customer feedback to incorporate this simple request in their software. What's the point of these communities and providing feedback to Arlo if they ignore the feedback?

I'm surprised that after years of debunking the supposed need to disable SSID broadcasting there are still folks who don't know that doing so does nothing to increase security. Hidden SSIDs are easily found using easily accessible tools for anyone who wants to do so. It's not the broadcast that's an issue, it's the security/encryption that is and Arlo uses WPA2 which is difficult (but not totally impossible) to crack. Your router has exactly the same issue.
