Why can’t I see people

I guess like all cameras there is a sweet spot for movement detection, I can’t off the top of my head think of the distance that Arlo rate but larger objects tend to be easier to pick up at distance as I too get the odd van, car or lorry picked up but not people walking by.

Don't forget that a car has a much larger IR signature than a person. The sun's IR reflecting off the car is also a major factor. The best solution is to reposition your camera(s) so the street isn't in view.
