Can forced updates be stopped

Can we stop the forced updates?  The system never works correctly again.

Nope. FWIW, all updates for my various cameras, base stations, SmartHubs, doorbells, etc. have never caused a problem. I generally don't even know they've updated until I see there's new entries in the Release Notes section here.
