add-on cameras

Hello!  I don't have an Arlo system yet and am planning on purchasing one in the near future.  My question is, if i get the Arlo Pro 2, can I add regular Arlo add-on cameras to the system or do they have to be Arlo Pro 2 add-on cameras only?  Thanks!

With the Pro2 base units, all the older camera are compatible.. Arlo HD, and Pro. Pro2...

keep in mind the newer cameras Pro3 and Ultra require a service plan after trial period and the Pro2( and older )retain the 5 cam limit for free 7days recordings

Some some the newer cameras are becoming/have become also compatible with the older base.
