I own the basic ARLO VMB3010r2 bridge and VMC3030 cameras.... can I add the ARLO PRO or PRO2 camera to this, or do I need a separate bridge to run the new cameras???

Yes you can. The original wire free cameras, the Pro and Pro 2 cameras will work on any base station.
