Cameras not detecting cars but detects people walking by and my family and parking in driveway

Hello,

My cameras used to detect cars driving by and now after a couple months my cameras haven't been detecting the cars driving passed my house. Now that there's suspicious activity around my area, it's not picking up the cars driving by. It still picks up on people walking by and my family and parking in the driveway. Now, it has not detected cars driving by, why is that?

The detection for people is max'ed at about 25 ft.... cars can be picked up at a much farther distance if the reflect IR off the windows... the diff you seeing could be as simple as a change in aiming or the diff in the sun due to changes in sky angle. ( time or year )

Ok, thanks for the reply. I'll play with the camera positioning and see what happens.
