I've been up and down the ladder, on the phone with support, had Comcast out to check wireless signal, Geek Squad installer out to troubleshoot and STILL the cameras continuously go off line.  It has been suggested that there can't be any walls between base station and cameras.  Really?  Aren't these indoor/outdoor cameras?  Then it would serve to reason that there would be at least 1 wall between the base and cameras wouldn't it?  This product is NOT ready for prime time.  In two weeks I have spent more day fooling around with these cameras than I care to remember.  In summary, don't waste your time if you value your time.

Get it replaced asap if still under warranty.. Camera or Base could be defective.. Contact Support

I’ve lost confidence in this product. Not much security being provided with offline cameras. What’s more of a pain is the rapid drain on the battery even while offline which requires removing, charging, resyncing and reinstalling only for cameras to go offline again in a couple of days. It’s all too much of a hassle. Just wanted the cameras to work as described and advertised. They’re not performing as they should. Off to a horrible start with no improvement in sight. I’m throwing in the towel and will try my luck elsewhere.

I don't know, I totally disagree. Mine have been absolutely perfect over the last month since I bought the six pack. Immediately out of the box they worked flawlessly. Personally, I would check your main router to make sure it is delivering everything it should to the base station. Good luck

Thanks. I’ve tried everything up to this point. Comcast is coming back out today to take another look at signal strength. The battery drain while offline is another issue I’m contending with also. It’s a bit frustrating.

Yes, I understand. It is frustrating when things don't work as they are promoted.
For myself, I used to have AT&T and had a horrible Wireless Wi-Fi signal. It was only 6 megabytes when we tested it. I had called Arlo and they said no way it would work with these cameras. I waited for almost 2 years until finally going to fiber and 300 megabytes speed. My AT&T modem that they had me connected for the 6 megabytes was pure junk as well. I think the new fiber router is much much better. It sounds like your issue is due to signal strength, I could be dead wrong and maybe I'm just lucky to get a good batch of cameras, but I would check everything else, before the base station. I'm not sure if you have enough time to return what you have purchased but I would not hesitate if you find that they are not working for you. These cameras are expensive! I paid a little bit more buying them directly from Amazon opposed to a third-party seller in Amazon, because I did read some posts from users that were negative, however there were much more posts that were positive than the negatives, and I feel sometimes most of these issues are due to individual problems within their own systems or network, and it's not the product that they purchased.. I wanted to be sure that if they needed to be returned, that I would not have to also pay shipping. When you buy directly from Amazon, return shipping is always covered by them. In my case I expected the cameras to not fully be able to work without Wi-Fi extenders placed throughout my home, but so far that has not been the case. My six cameras have never gone offline and they are placed more than 50 feet away from the base station within different levels of my house. My ceilings on each floor are 12 feet high and the router and base station are in my basement. Good luck and I hope you find a resolution to the issue. I know it's frustrating, and sometimes it's not worth the trouble.

My base station has 2 walls and about 140-150 feet from one of my cameras and have had no problems with it. Good luck with it as these are very good cameras.

I’ve tried everything. Just put in google Wifi mesh and replaced the base station. We’ll see if it resolves the problem. If not, I can’t justify keeping cameras that are off line more often than not and whose batteries drain rapidly, even while off line. Thanks for your input.
