You might need to move your base station to an area closer to your camera. Depending on how many cameras you have and their distances from the base station you might need to get a wifi extender and a second base station for this camera. I have 3 base stations in my home to get strong signals on all my cameras. Adding more base stations does not add to your free 5 camera plan.

Home construction can play a big part of the ability to maintain the connection between the camera and base. Stucco homes have a wire mesh to hold the stucco which tends to act like a Faraday cage blocking the signal. Dunno if brick homes may have a similar setup or if it's just the density and marterials in the brick that can cause this. As mentioned above, moving the base closer can help as could positioning the camera in a different location, perhaps away from the brick. Trial and error will be needed to get it where you need it.
