Hi there, I have Arlo pro two cameras. All purchased at the same time two of them are running using Arlo solar panels, and one is permanently plugged into mains. The one that is plugged into the mains is now showing the battery percentage at 32%, it seems to be dropping as the days or weeks go by. Yet it is still plugged into the mains and receiving power. The others which are on solar remain at 100% or near that depending on how sunny it has been over a period of time. Any ideas as to what might be going on? Thanks in advance 😊

Try swapping the battery in the problem camera with one of the others. Then see if the charging issue moves with the battery (or not).
If it stays with the camera/location, then try swapping the camera, and see if the problem moves with the camera (or not).

Have you tried comparing the mobile arlo app to the arlo website my.arlo.com to see if they are reading the same percentage?
Have you tried removing external power to the problem Camera to see if the percentage updates to the real value?
You could also reset the camera by removing the battery for 10sec.

Hi there, thanks for your advice however I’m away from the devices for three more months and no way of getting to them to test this out till then. Online login doesn’t give me any options to view the cameras or anything for that matter other than arlo sales trying to make me by more stuff. 🤷♂️ hope I don’t return to a house that’s burnt down due to a faulty battery! 😵💫 let’s hope it’s just a glitch

Try using a PC web browser to access the web app to enable the dashboard display.
You could try restarting the base station from the app's base settings menu. Power cycling the base would be better, getting someone to do this is no doubt a challenge.

Is there electricity in that specific plug charging the battery?
The above is an assumption because you didn't actually mention the types of icons you can see on that camera - can you see the icon of a plug - or whether it has a battery installed in it for back-up purposes. If you see the percentage, maybe it's just the battery not charging.
Mine is connected to the mains, too, though without a battery, and I can see the icon of a plug.

What's the outdoor temp? The battery won't charge under 32F/0C.
