I have Arlo Pro 2 cameras without a service agreement/paid plan.  I recently moved a camera on my house to a new location.  Now every time the wind blows a bush in the camera’s view sets the camera off.  I set the motion sensitivity down low, but that did not fix the problem.  I recognize that the simplest fixes  are to move the camera so the bush is not in its view, remove the bush, or pay for a plan that will allow me to modify the camera’s view.  However, non of these choice are acceptable.  Does anyone else have a suggestion that may resolve the problem, or do I just need to live with it?

Actually that won't help much.  You can set up activity zones with a subscription - which can reduce recordings and notifications.  But those are processed in the cloud, so it doesn't help with battery life.

Tuning the motion sensistivity and adjusting the field of view are the two main options.

The camera is more sensitive to motion at the bottom of the field of view than the top.  Sometimes inverting the camera (and using the rotate control in the camera settings) can help some.

The Pro 2 cameras don't have the same issues as newer ones that have a wider FOV so the issue of low detection in the upper regions is much less Of course, the greater the distance, the harder to detect regardless ofthe camera model.

Screenshots of the cameras' views may be useful for suggestions.

True, but the Pro 2 cameras are also somewhat more sensitive to motion at the bottom of the field of view than the top.

All Arlo cameras are more sensitive to side-to-side motion than motion directly towards the camera.
