I recently purchased a Arlo home base and 2 Arlo pro 2 cameras and an additional Arlo pro camera. They’ve been set up for 6 days now and the battery life on 2 of the cameras is very poor. The Arlo pro 2 at my front door is still on 92% after 2 days but the Arlo pro 2 in my backyard is on 50% and the Arlo pro in my front yard is on 75%. Is it normal for there to be such a disparity in the battery life between devices and for one of them to be at 50% after only 6 days? I was expecting not to have to charge them that often, as they are up high and difficult for me to reach and get down but it looks like I’m basically going to have to charge them weekly

I have a similar setup to your’s and yes it is not unusual to have to recharge weekly.

The more activity presented to the camera’s IR sensor triggers the video system and uses up the battery.

There are a lots of ways to improve battery time. Have a read of Arlo’s online faqs and user manual for starters.

SPec battery life is for <5 minutes per day of live viewing and recording. Other factors can get in there, too.
