What is going on with battery draining yet cameras being used as much or even less? We are thinking some “change” to software happened to cause this massive draining. Batteries would last a month and now we are lucky to get a week! Hey, Arlo please fix!

No problem here. Any chance something that also uses the 2.4GHz band has been installed or moved close to the base? Signal strength and/or quality can dramatically worsen battery life. I'd also suggest moving the base as far away as practical from the router.

Nothing done except changed to better internet service.  Arlo app has stopped giving notifications yet I have them “on.”  It also puts singular cameras offline constantly thus missing valuable recordings.  I feel Arlo is not improving their older models as they need more revenue so they make the old ones do these things to get you to buy newer where you pay for storing your personal videos.  We have a different camera system at our rental and it works incredibly! We are guess being forced to say goodbye yet we were faithful customers for so long.  Sad when companies don’t care about customer service.  The only response is in this community board.  They need to read the book, “Who moved my cheese?”

I read that book many times.

While there's no guarantee of success, you may want to remove all devices from your account and start fresh. However, if you have a VMB4000 base, that may prove problematic  based on various reports here. Still worth a try. You could purchase a SmartHub (I'd suggest the VMB4540) to replace your old base which may work better.
