I just got a new (to me) Pro2 camera and I was able to get it synced with my VMB4500r2 base station... (blue lights blink fast) but when I try to access it I am seeing
"
A paid subscription is required to activate the device.
"
Is there a limit to the number of these I can have on my base without a subscription? I have one on there that I could disable "in favor" of this one (which I basically bought as a "spare")... or is something else going on? Something to do with the obsolescence plan maybe? I'm wondering if I can use this camera at all without buying a subscription.

The free 7 day plan is for 5 cameras or less. How many do you have?

I have 5 Pro2 cameras on the hub already... so it's probably objecting to adding a sixth.
I was hoping to use this new one as a spare (camera and battery), and was just checking to see if it worked OK.
It sounds like I can test it by disassociating one of the existing 5 and replacing it.
I just wanted to make sure they hadn't turned off the ability to add cameras *at all*, and I wasn't sure about the limit.
I think I got my answer. Will try the test later today.

Thanks very much... I was able to delete one of my existing cameras and add the "new" one... so now I have a usable spare in case of failure... and also a new battery. Really appreciate the help!
