Until recently my Arlo system was working but now every time I start up the Arlo app it tries to upgrade the app which requires iOS 11.

I run the app on my Apple iPad iOS 9.3.5 which cannot be upgraded any further. I don't have an iPhone and my only other device is a tower computer with Windows 10. Does this now mean that my Arlo investment is totally redundant or is there a way around this problem ?

No, it's just that new OSes require certain changes that break apps. You can use both your tablet and computer using the https://my.arlo.com link. The tablet can use the mobile browser if it's set to use the desktop version of the site.

Thank you for your advice. I believe that I got a step further but now the system is requesting that I sign up to a plan which I am reluctant to do so I am kind of in limbo !

What message are you seeing? Is it just an invitation? Is it after you login?

You don't need a plan. You do need to login.
