Arlo pro 2 CVR question

Is it possible to continuously record to the USB thumb drive on the base station (yes, with camera plugged in), but only have it upload to cloud upon motion detection? My arlo system is using a cellular hotspot as its internet connection so I pay for data and its limited so I can't have CVR uploading to the cloud. Willing to pay for CVR plan but only want motion uploaded to cloud and CVR to base station USB drive. Purpose is to record everything even if motion isn't set off, with the trade off of only backing up to cloud motion detection sequences. Possible?

Simple answer ....No

all cvr goes to the cloud so data usage would be restrictive on cellular
