I have nothing but problems with my 5 Arlo Pro 2 cameras and wired doorbell.  The cameras all have problems where they just stop recording video...at least every 4-6 weeks all/most will stop recoding.  Now my doorbell is doing the same thing.  For the cameras, I remove the device, get them off the roof, resync with the base and that works for a few weeks.  I tried the same with my doorbell and it won't add back to My Devices.  I learned I now have to pay for support and when contacting them, they just asked me if I did the steps through the KB article, which I had.  Now they're going to email me about it.  I think I'm just over Arlo.  Has anyone moved off Arlo to something better you could recommend?  My neighbor has the Ring doorbell and loves it.  I need 5 cameras and the doorbell to cover my house.  Open to any suggestions.

It may be a signal strength/quality issue. If the WiFi icons show decent strength, try moving the base away from the router. Look for any wireless devices that use the 2.4GHz band near the base that may be new or moved. Bring a camera closer to the base to see if that helps.

You say the doorbell won't add back to your account but what have you tried? Did you perform the reset procedure shown in the FAQ  in the support section here? Hold the small hidden button on the back for >15 seconds until the ring flashes and try again.

The signal strength shows good.  I have my router in the basement with the base unit and wifi extenders on the main and upstairs and that does a good job of covering the house with good wifi.
I did the reset the doorbell based off their KB article.  Once it resets, the light goes solid white and when I press the doorbell, nothing happens.  It says the light should blink white while it attempts to sync, but it never does.  I've reset several times and it does the same thing.

Assuming you're holding the reset button for >10 seconds, you may just have a bad doorbell. Use the Arlo app and go to Settings, Support to start the RMA process.
