Arlo app no longer saves password. Keeps asking for password every time I log on.

About a week ago, Arlo app started asking for my password EVERY-TIME I looked at it. Is this a feature or bug?

If it’s a feature and you need feedback.

Where do you see this? A browser? An app?

 

About a week ago Arlo forced "2FA" on us. Maybe this is what you are seeing.

 

What is two-step verification and how do I set it up?

 

Sadly, the latest implementation of 2FA is far from perfect. It does not play nicely with browsers on a PC. It is supposed to remember the device for a week or so. In reality it sometimes forgets after a day or two. And you have to do it on every browser you run, rather than the PC itself.

This happens with both browser and app. I use phone and iPad only. 
I figured it was a 2 step verification annoyance. 
Constantly asking for Touch ID, and/or password

Am I tortured by this security “feature” forever? Can I turn it off?

I’ve been asked to make trusted several times and I’ve said yes. It’s like everything related to logging in is wiped out when I close the app.

Is it the phone or the Arlo app that demands attention?

 

Mine demands a fingerprint whenever pick it up. Likewise the app.

Arlo app. It just started about a week or so ago. I think it’s something to do with the website made it mandatory to have 2 step verification or whatever it’s called.
Wish I could turn it off.
