I set up my cameras and both worked fine. However now I can only get one camera at a time to work at a time.. I switch them by going into mode, and then into armed. Once I am in armed I get this: If Motion or Audio on (serial number of one camera)  and then it has an edit button.. if I go to edit, it gives me edit rule and I can switch to the other camera by clicking on the camera that shows up and choosing the other one.. when I do that, then the 2nd camera is armed and will activate, but it then shuts down audio and video for the original camera... please help

You need to add a rule to your recording mode. You should have one rule per camera that tells the system what to do when either camera detects motion. Most would set each rule to say the camera will record when it detects motion but you'll see you can do other things like trigger the other camera(s) to record as well or trigger a light or a siren
