I want to have 6 Cameras working and feeding the Cloud with a "Free-Basic" operation and add two more cameras that only run during a live feed at night time. Can I add 2 additional cameras to monitor the children without Cloud storage making it a total of 8 cameras?
Some say you can have two hubs that can do this task, but can one hub handle 6 Cloud fed cameras, and two additional non cloud fed cameras? And if so, How can I distinguish each camera to be Cloud recorded, or not?
Thanks!
Sam

You can only have 5 cameras running on the basic plan ( free) ( with some special exceptions as a 6 cam package they sold and if like a Q cam is on the cvr paid option )
That said, it doesn't matter if in live mode or not, all video goes to the cloud and comes back to you, still the limit is 5 cams.
Both base bound cams and those directly linked to your wifi all will show in the same app/web page
There are a couple of ways to exceed the 5 limit;
1) pay for a higher level
2) run two separate bases with two accounts/emails/pw each running 5
Also using #2 you can share cams from account 2 back to account 1 and have most but not 100% control of cams AND all will appear in the app/web page at same time od account 1
