We have 5 Arlo Pro 2 cameras. Is there a way to set the cameras to record ALL THE WHILE someone is moving in the camera area? I'm specially concerned about the pool camera. It only records say 15 second clips even though someone is out there cleaning the pool for 15 minutes. The same with all the other cameras, but mainly concerned about the pool camera. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
PLK

You can set them to record until motion stops, but the recording will still be ended after 5 minutes. It might also stop if the person at the pool moves out of range of the motion detection.

I generally find the motion detection period is 5sec of no movement stops the recording. Then you have a 5sec settling period before detection trigger is enabled again.
Arlo doesn’t have a feature to record longer than 10sec if motion stops.
It will only allow you to record fixed duration up to 5mins regardless of continuous motion events.
You have the CVR subscription option to record continuously but requires camera to be externally powered.
You can also increase the camera motion detection sensitivity in the mode camera rules to increase range but you risk false triggering.

True, though it does have a feature to record until motion stops.

Yes agree that the camera recordings will continue until object motion stops for more than 5sec.
Unfortunately in practice you never see the object leaving only arriving so you never get the whole event since you’re limited to 10sec or until motion stops.
Regards @PLK requirements for monitoring the pool area, the object is usually in the far field so motion triggering is never continuous and having an extendable triggering period greater than 5sec would greatly assist here especially with minimising battery drain you would get with using 5min fixed recording settings.

FWIW, I agree that having a setting for how long the recording continues after motion stops would be useful. Also, a setting on for how long the camera will wait before triggering again.
@PLK - if it is practical to cover the pool area from an indoor camera (through a window), then the Essential Indoor camera might be an option. It features pixel detection for motion, so it will detect motion at a greater distance than the PIR sensors in the outdoor cameras (and which will work through windows). Nightvision won't work well, due to reflections off the window, though if the pool area is well lit that might not matter. Plus the pool cleaning would only be done during the day.

You may want to consider plugging the camera into AC power and purchase a CVR subscription for that camera.
