In the last 2 months my base keeps losing the connection to the cloud.
I am very dissatisfied with it!
I spent a lot of money on my 5 cameras and the solar panels. I use it to monitor my second place of residence in Tenerife and I rely on the system working.
Since the base works (all LEDs are green) and I can also see it connected to the router, I have to assume that the problem is with the Arlo cloud.

Could be.
Two workarounds that some here have used:
- Use a UPS to keep both the base and the router/gateway for your ISP running when the power fails.
- Power the base with a smart switch, so you can remotely power cycle it.
FWIW, I agree the smart switch shouldn't be necessary, but it does give you a useful option when you are away.

I have a smart home and can control all devices with it. Unfortunately unsuccessful. I have already restarted the base several times with it.
Have you also tried restarting the router?

Unfortunately, your experience is not helpful. I'm an IT Pro and have already tried everything I can. I'm afraid my base is defective.
It could be. I just noticed you hadn't said anything about rebooting the network - though clearly you've already that.
Likely you've done this also, but just in case... When the connection drops, have you looked at LED status on the base? https://kb.arlo.com/000039100/What-do-the-LEDs-on-my-Arlo-SmartHub-or-Base-Station-mean
